ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
In order to qualify for the Ijesha Society Education Grant, candidates need to fulfill the following conditions:
- Both parents must belong to the Ijesha community.
- They should prove their financial necessity, backed by a letter from either the Chairman of the Local Government Area or the Oba of the town/village.
- They must be enrolled in a Public University in Nigeria, confirmed by the relevant authority.
- Demonstrated good academic standing with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.50 out of 5.00, verified by the institution.
- Applicants should not be in their final year of study.
METHOD OF APPLICATION.
To apply successfully for the educational grant offered by THE IJESA SOCIETY, Lagos, follow these steps:
- Craft a letter, not exceeding 500 words, directed to “The Chairman, Education Committee, THE IJESA SOCIETY, Lagos.” In the letter, provide personal information such as your name, course of study, current year of study, hometown or village in Ijesaland, Local Government Area, and explain why you deserve the grant.
