Scholarships For Educational Options: The Scholarships for Educational Options program is designed to empower students with a choice in their academic path. Whether you aspire to attend a traditional college or university, seek vocational training, or explore online educational opportunities, this scholarship provides the financial support you need. With the rising costs of education, this program ensures that deserving students can access quality learning options that align with their ambitions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Available to Florida residents, regardless of household income, who are eligible to attend a K-12 public school.*
- The scholarship will first pay for the cost of private school tuition and related fees or public school transportation.
- $7,800 average amount awarded for private school scholarships for the 2023-24 school year
- $750 minimum awarded for transportation scholarships
- Florida students who are not full-time private nor full-time public school students now have access to the Personalized Education Program (PEP) through the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program.
Scholarships For Students with Unique Abilities: Step Up believes that every student deserves a chance to excel, regardless of their challenges. The Scholarships for Students with Unique Abilities program aims to support and uplift students facing physical, intellectual, or developmental disabilities. By providing financial aid and resources to these talented individuals, the program fosters an inclusive educational environment that celebrates diversity and creates equal opportunities for all.
REQUIREMENTS
- Available to students age 3 through grade 12 or age 22, whichever comes first, who have a specific diagnosis.
- $10,000 average award for an FES-UA scholarship
- Funds may be used for tuition and fees for a private school, homeschooling options, therapies, tutoring and more
New Worlds Scholarship: Are you a student with a passion for exploration and cultural exchange? The New Worlds Scholarship is tailored for those eager to broaden their horizons by studying abroad. This program offers students the chance to experience new cultures, gain international exposure, and build global connections. The New Worlds Scholarship not only covers tuition and travel expenses but also nurtures a global perspective that prepares students for success in an interconnected world.
REQUIREMENTS
- Funds may be used for part-time tutoring, summer and after-school literacy programs, instructional materials, curriculum and more.
- Available to K-5th grade students
- $500 education savings account
- Eligibility based on the student’s performance on the English Language Arts (ELA) test during the prior year
