ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
The Yousriya Loza-Sawiris Scholarship 2024 applicants must meet the following conditions:
Possess a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a highly esteemed academic institution in a related field of study.
Display at least two years of work experience in the development field.
Meet the entry requirements for the academic MDP program.
Demonstrate outstanding professional and academic records.
The scholarships are awarded based on both financial need and merit, considering qualities such as academic excellence, extracurricular activities, and social behavior.
While no specific academic track is mandatory, students with a strong background in liberal arts and robust quantitative and analytical skills will have an advantage for academic success at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
Applicants should be Egyptian nationals residing in Egypt, and preference will not be given to dual nationality holders.
Prior coursework in mathematics, statistics, and economics is advisable.
English language proficiency is a requirement. Valid TOEFL or IELTS scores are accepted if the exam date is within two years of the graduate program’s start. The minimum required scores are 100 (TOEFL internet-based, with a minimum of 22 in each section) or 7 (IELTS, with a minimum of 7 in each section).
