SCOPE

The BigFuture Scholarship Initiative was established with the intention of providing guidance and inspiration to students as they navigate the stages of college planning and financing. In recognition of their dedication, deserving students will be granted scholarship funds, which can be utilized at an Institution that meets Title IV eligibility criteria.

The BigFuture platform offers a range of resources to assist students in selecting a suitable college and career path. As students engage with BigFuture to prepare for their college journey, they automatically become eligible for drawings that offer scholarships of $500 and $40,000. It’s important to note that the $500 scholarships are presented on a monthly basis, while the $40,000 scholarships are given out annually. Additionally, students have the opportunity to earn a maximum of 20 entries for each scholarship. Furthermore, students from families with an annual income of less than $60,000 have an increased likelihood of securing these scholarships.

SCHOLARSHIPS DETAILS.

The BigFuture Scholarships initiative constitutes a College Board program that provides incentives to students for engaging in preparations for their future beyond high school. Individuals have the chance to acquire entries for the opportunity to secure scholarships of $500 or even $40,000. This can be achieved by successfully accomplishing a range of activities related to planning for higher education. These activities encompass crafting a list of potential careers, compiling a selection of colleges, undertaking the SAT or ACT exams, submitting the FAFSA, and registering for a College Board account, among others.

Furthermore, students can accrue additional entries by actively participating in activities that aid others, such as volunteering or providing mentorship. The eligibility for the BigFuture Scholarships program extends to students enrolled in grades 9 through 12. It’s imperative to note that the application deadline for these scholarships is set for February 28, 2024.

What renders the BigFuture Scholarships program truly captivating are the advantages that accompany it. Within this program, a student:

  1. Has the opportunity to amass funds to alleviate the costs of college education.
  2. Receives support in the realm of college planning.
  3. Connects with fellow students who are similarly preparing for higher education.
