SCHOLARSHIPS BENEFITS AND DURATION
The King Abdullah Scholarship Program is giving students an opportunity to receive a scholarship. This scholarship is fully funded and is for students from other countries who want to study in Saudi Arabia. It will help with the following costs:
- The fee for registering and the entire tuition fee for the course.
- A place to stay without having to pay for it.
- Money for living expenses, ranging from $20,000 to $30,000 every year. The amount depends on how well you qualify for the scholarship and how far you’ve progressed in your studies.
- Coverage for medical and dental expenses.
- Support to help you move to Saudi Arabia for your studies.
REQUIRED DOCUMENT

- Official academic records from the university.
- A written statement explaining your goals and intentions.
- A summary of your educational and work history.
- Identification document (such as a passport).
Three letters of recommendation: These letters should come from your teachers, advisors, and employers (who are capable of evaluating your academic performance and research potential) and should be in English.
Language Proficiency: KAUST asks for a minimum TOEFL score of 79 on the IBT or 6.5 on the IELTS. A TOEFL or IELTS score is not obligatory if you obtained a degree from an accredited institution in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand. - People from various countries and backgrounds can apply for the KAUST Scholarship, regardless of their nationality.
- If you have completed a Bachelor’s degree, you can apply for the Master’s Degree programs.
- If you have already earned a Master’s degree, you can apply for the Doctoral Degree programs.
To be eligible, you should be in good physical and mental health, perform well academically, and have a commendable conduct record.
