ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for the Queensland University Scholarship for International Students, applicants must meet the following criteria:
SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IN SCIENCE:
- Qualify as an international student in Australia.
- Submit all necessary documents by the scholarship deadline, as outlined in the offer from UQ for an approved program.

UQ VICE-CHANCELLOR’S SCHOLARSHIP
You Are Eligible If You:
- Achieved a minimum ATAR of 99.90 (or its equivalent).
- Completed Year 12 in 2023 or 2022 (if you are on a gap year).
ADDITIONALLY, YOU MUST MEET ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
- Be an Australian citizen or hold an Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa.
- Be an Australian Permanent Resident, New Zealand Citizen, or international student who completed Years 11 and 12 in Australia.
FURTHERMORE:
- You should not have completed any previous tertiary studies apart from those in your Year 11-12 studies (e.g., Enhanced Studies Program).
- You must have applied for a tertiary place through QTAC and have listed UQ as your first preference by December 18, 2023.
- You intend to enroll as a full-time student in a UQ undergraduate program in 2024 (or 2025 if you are deferring your tertiary place).
