The RealtyHop Scholarship provides a yearly grant of up to $2,000 to qualified students pursuing bachelor’s or associate degrees in the United States. SCHOLARSHIPS DETAILS.
RealtyHop plans to grant a pair of scholarships worth $1,000 annually, with one corresponding to each application cutoff, and possibly one or more honorable mention prizes of lesser value. The two due dates for the academic year fall on April 30th and August 31st (These deadlines are reiterated on an annual basis).
The chosen recipients will be informed by RealtyHop via the provided email and phone number submitted with the application, within 30 days of each deadline. RealtyHop will distribute the monetary prize component of the scholarship within four weeks of notifying the winners. The non-monetary portions of the reward will be presented at a mutually convenient time agreed upon by the recipient and RealtyHop, within a maximum of 3 months from the notification date. The only exception is the possible internship, which might be scheduled up to 12 months following the notification date.

SCHOLAR BENEFITS AND AWARD

RealtyHop will check with the recipient’s school to confirm their policy on external scholarship checks. If required, scholarship checks will be sent directly to the winner’s school.
Each scholarships award shall be non-transferable and will be in the form of a check made payable to the eligible institution of higher education attended by the recipient.
Scholarship award recipients must submit proof of current enrollment at such institutions in order for RealtyHop to remit the award.
- No cash equivalent awards will be provided.
- The award of any scholarship shall be contingent upon full compliance with the terms and conditions of these rules. If any RealtyHop Scholarship award recipient
- (i) fails or refuses, within ten business days of being notified of their selection as a recipient of a scholarship award to provide proof of identity, any required affidavit, or any requested tax forms (including IRS W-9 form)
- (ii) is found by RealtyHop to have violated the terms and conditions of these rules.
- (iii) otherwise does not meet the eligibility criteria set forth herein, such recipient’s award will be forfeited and an alternate RealtyHop Scholarship award recipient will be chosen.
- Any taxes owed by any recipient in respect of any RealtyHop scholarship award shall be the sole responsibility of the award recipient, who shall be issued an IRS Form 1099 in connection therewith.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for the RealtyHop Apartment Scholarships, you need to be presently enrolled in an acceptable full-time undergraduate program seeking either a bachelor’s or associate degree, with the intention of completing your studies within the coming 4 years.
Institutions that qualify encompass any recognized university in the United States that confers degrees upon at least 100 students annually or is mentioned as a university or college program in any classification other than part-time in the online editions of U.S. News and World Report, Peterson’s College Information report, or the Princeton Review College Guide from the year 2015.
Individuals who are directly related to employees of RealtyHop or LM2 Research, Inc. are not permitted to submit applications for the scholarships.

HOW TO SUBMIT
The procedure involves submitting your application utilizing the email address provided by your educational institution.
If your school does not give you an institutional email address, or if they prohibit students from sending or receiving external emails through their provided email system, you can still proceed by using your individual email account.
Ultimately, we will require validation of your qualification during the submission process. This can be achieved by furnishing a PDF document containing either your acceptance letter or confirmation of enrollment in the Undergraduate or Associates program. It is imperative that you submit this document by the deadline of each application cycle, no later than midnight (Eastern Time).
