16 Year Old Female Student Become Overall Best In 2023 JAMB
A student named Ejikeme Joy from Anglican Girls Secondary School (AGSS) in Nnewi, Anambra state, has emerged as the overall best student in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with a total score of 362.
Ejikeme Joy, a pupil of AGSS in Nnewi, Anambra state, obtained the highest score of 362 in the just-concluded 2023 UTME.

The Anambra state government has responded to this news. According to a statement by Christian Aburime, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Charles Soludo, the outstanding performance of Ejikeme Joy brought joy and celebration to her school and Anambra state, as her teachers, parents, and fellow students were thrilled and elated.
The Statement Reads: “Once again, Anambra state has demonstrated its position as a leading center of academic excellence in the country.
“Ms Ejikeme Joy’s exceptional achievement has been praised by the Anambra state Commissioner of Education, Prof Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, who described it as ‘outstanding and excellent.’
“This result demonstrates the commitment and priority that Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s administration places on the education sector in the state.
“Ejikeme’s exceptional performance has brought happiness and joy to every Ndi-Anambra.
“We are proud of her, and we will monitor her academic progress as she pursues her chosen career. We are proud of her, and we thank Governor Soludo for giving education top priority in the state.
