SCOPE
The Dell Scholars initiative is a program that provides scholarships and support to students as they pursue their college education. Launched in 2004, the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation has assisted 5,000 scholars, with over 2,000 successfully completing their college degrees.

This program offers a $20,000 scholarship to successful applicants, aiming to ease the financial burden that often accompanies higher education.

Dell Foundation understand that college life comes with its fair share of challenges, and that’s why our scholarship program offers personalized, multifaceted support to help students overcome obstacles that could impede their path to graduation. To equip our scholars for success in the digital age, Dell Foundation provide them with an essential tool—a brand new laptop computer complete with a 4-year warranty. With this technology at their fingertips, they’ll have the tools they need to excel in their studies and stay connected with the academic world.
Dell Foundation also recognize the soaring costs of textbooks, so Dell Foundation offer scholars an annual allowance of $500 in Chegg credits for four years. These credits can be used to purchase or rent textbooks, as well as access textbook solutions to enhance their learning experience.
Moreover, Dell Foundation understand that life circumstances can sometimes be overwhelming for students and their families. To address this, Dell Foundation scholarship program includes access to the Scholars Resource Network—a network of invaluable resources to deal with stress, debt, and other life challenges that may arise during their college journey. Dell Foundation believe that a strong support system is essential for the holistic development of our scholars.
Additionally, Dell Foundation prioritize scholars’ mental well-being. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must Engaging in a college preparedness initiative endorsed by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation during the 11th and 12th grades.
Candidates must be Completing high school from a recognized educational institution in the current academic year.
Candidates must be Achieving at least a 2.4 GPA.
Candidates must be Showing verifiable financial need.
Candidates must Qualified to receive a federal Pell grant during the initial year of college.
Candidates must Intending to enroll as a full-time student in a bachelor’s degree program at a recognized higher education establishment immediately after high school graduation.
METHOD OF APPLICATION

To request a scholarship from the Dell Scholars program, the initial stage involves filling out an application online.
Upon submission, the scholarship committee will evaluate all applications and pick a set of candidates as semifinalists. These semifinalists will need to provide their up-to-date high school transcript, a comprehensive Student Aid Report (SAR) from their FAFSA, and an online recommendation.
